disability care

Looking for a care provider to service you or your loved one’s disability care or special needs can often be stressful, complicated, and time-consuming. However, with Virtus Care’s disability care, we take that process and make it as easy as possible while you will be reassured you will be receiving an experienced carer that will suit your requirements.

Our disability carers are trained in-house to be adaptable and able to tailor your care plan to any circumstance. By being friendly, considerate, and patient, our carers will not only assist you with you or your loved one’s physical disabilities, but also be there to provide emotional and psychological support in your day to day life. Ensuring your quality of life at home is as unchanged and comfortable as possible.

Virtus Care’s disability care service can allow you or your loved one the freedom to focus on your interests, hobbies and activities you love the most, or even allow yourself time to take a break and rest, while we take care of the day to day duties.

Some of the activities your disability carer will assist you with include:

Personal care
Pet care
Mobility support
Grocery shopping and other errands
Household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Meal cooking and preparation
Booking and organizing transport to appointments, or prescription collection
Assist in hobbies and activities indoors and outdoors.
Medication management
Companionship and emotional support.

Virtus Care understands the importance of making sure you or your loved one can remain independent as it is crucial in ensuring a good quality of life within your own home. This is why our carers are trained to be considerate and unobtrusive, but also outgoing and supportive depending on the situation.

Virtus carers are trained in-house by our family led team to make sure only the highest quality of carers are provided by Virtus. We also know dealing with a disability that affects your everyday life can often be overwhelming, which is why we make sure to provide you with a carer who will understand your disability and will be adaptable and able to tailor your care plan to your specific needs.

We work closely with local authorities, district nurses and local GPs to make sure the care you receive is of the highest quality, no matter how complex your needs may be.

There are several reasons our family owned care provider has an excellent reputation around London, some of these reasons include:

Friendly and compassionate – Our carers will always treat you and your household with the utmost respect, kindness, and compassion. Your needs are at the forefront of everything we do.
• Reliable and professional – Whilst our carers often become friends and “part of the family” with the people they care for, they will also remain professional and our excellent training means you will always be in safe hands.
• Fair pricing – We do not believe in hidden costs or making our services inaccessible which is why our prices are affordable and based on your care requirements. While being very clear and concise.
• Transparency – Virtus Care uses the latest technology and methodologies in order to allow you and your family to see how the care is going in real time. Allowing you to monitor medications, care plans and more instantly.

Virtus Care will provide a carer who will be able to “live-in” and provide care for you or your loved one for 24 hours a day, or you will be able to have a visiting carer who will be able to come at scheduled times to take care of all your needs. However here at Virtus we believe in flexibility which is why our care plans are designed around you and your requirements and we will adapt our services to whatever your requirements are.

For more information on costs, our service or anything else please feel free to contact us, and we will discuss your requirements and how we can help.

My Carer with Virtus was a live-in carer, she provided me with everything I needed to be comfortable in my own home, since I am now immobile, the carer helped me with all of my household tasks and even helped me look after my pet. She was always happy and I’m glad to say I see her now as family rather than just a care assistant.
